Towing with a Hydralift Trike Lift

Towing

When towing with the Hydralift Trike Carrier Lift  with your Trike on the lift you can tow your tow car flat with the use of a tow bar.   The towing capacity of the HLT5498 is 5,000 lbs towing weight and -0- tongue weight.   Hydralift does not allow for tongue weight when the lift is loaded .

With the Hydralift RV mounted motorcycle lift you can carry your Trike motorcycle and tow your vehicle flat with the use of a tow bar  (not included).   

Hydralift also allows for towing the larger trailers without having to remove the Hydralift  by removing the oversize platform from the Hydralift then you can tow your trailer with Hydralift's Class III trailer hitch receiver without interference to the Hydralift motorcycle lift's platform.

Lift empty with the platform removed:

Towing capacity*        10,000  lbs

Tongue weight*            1,000  lbs

 

* Your towing capacities are limited to your RV's towing capacity or whichever is less.

The Hydralift Motorcycle Lift for RV's installs directly to the RV's chassis frame with the Hydralift frame saddle brackets that are included with every Hydralift Motorcycle Lift.  Hydralift installs directly to the chassis frame this is different than installing a power-lift like a trailer hitch ball mount that allows up and down movement. The Hydralift Motorcycle Lift provides towing directly from the RV’s frame this assures you a more safe and stable ride for your motorcycle and you will have a higher towing capacity over other types of motorcycle lifts.
